Tips for Health

If you want a healthier lifestyle and want to live longer and feel better, here are a few tips to follow:

1)Cut out processed foods - if it is in a box more than likely it is processed.
2)Cut out high fructose corn syrup - it is in about 90% of the foods you buy at the grocery store... high fructose corn syrup turns to sugar when it enters your body and insulin kicks in and stores it as fat. Very, very bad for you.
3)Eat plenty of fruits and veggies. You can go to farmers markets to get fresh fruit and veggies. - Fix vegetables by steaming them instead of frying and bake your chicken and other meats. You can enhance the flavor with garlic or other seasonings.
4)Exercise - get out and walk or go up and down stairs. Anything to keep moving. If you are sitting at the computer a lot, get a balance ball and sit on it while working. It keeps you moving and will help tone your body.
5)Drink Water - DO NOT drink soft drinks... they are very bad for your body and contain high fructose corn syrup.
6)Take supplements - you need to make sure that your body is getting the vitamins and minerals it needs. There is no value in the foods we eat anymore... foods are so processed now, that all the vitamins and minerals are taken out. It is an absolute necessity that we supplement with vitamins and minerals to stay healthy.

We wonder why so many of us are obese, have diabetes, cancer, high cholesterol, IBS, and so many diseases, but we are doing it to ourselves.

We continue to eat unhealthy foods that are killing us. We need to be more self sufficient. I have committed myself to start taking better care of myself and my family by eating a healthier diet and exercising. I hope that you will join me in doing the same for yourself and family. Let's start reversing these side effects of an unhealthy lifestyle.
